Rikki-Lee Burley

I have been going to JYTS MP since I was 10. This is my 7th year and in 2008 I won the scholarship. Going to dancing is the highlight of my week - I love seeing all my friends, the teachers are lovely and it's a great way to challenge myself and learn new things!
My regular classes are on Thursday but this year I started VCE dance for two hours each Saturday with two other girls. Our teacher Judita is friendly and keeps our classes varied and fun. Sometimes we spend the class in the gym working on our solos for mid-year assessment or watching and analysing dance works from movies. The course has a balance of bookwork, including common causes and mechanics of injuries and choreographic devices and practical group activities and solo workshopping.
Last year I went on the Disneyland Tour with all my friends and I hope to go again in 2013!!

Madeline Perrone

I attend the Johnny Young Talent School in Mill Park and in 2006 I won the scholoarship. I was very excited as I had been at the fantastic school for over 6 years and was very thankful to my beautiful teachers that always assisted me whenever I needed help with anything.

It is a great school and the friendships you make are unbelievable it's a fantastic talent school and everyone has enthusiam I LOVE the school and wouldn't change for anything.

Kaitlyn Thomas

I’ve been coming to the Johnny Young Talent School in Mill Park since 2004 where I started as a tiny tot. Since then I’ve learnt Jazz, Singing, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap and Acrobatics. I love the school and really love the teachers, everybody is nice and I’ve made lots of friendships and Sally is lots and lots of fun! I was also lucky enough to be chosen to be a part of the 2009 American Tour Team where Igot to perform in Disneyland and universal Studios it was the best experience of my life and I am going to work really hard to hope I get chosen to go on the 2013 TOUR.

Hi, my name is Brittaney, and I am a student at the Johnny Young Talent School Mill Park. This is my 8th year at the school and I love it! I do jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, singing and acrobatics. All of the teachers are amazing, they have taught me heaps. I have made so many great friendships being apart
of the J.Y.T.S Mill Park! This has built up my confidence so much and now I love being up on a stage performing!
